Comparis is looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to join their Marketplaces team and help build and evolve one of Switzerland’s largest real estate platforms.

This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working across the full stack—building modern frontend experiences, scalable backend services, and contributing to the modernization of large-scale legacy systems into cloud-native architecture.

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team working on high-traffic web applications used daily by thousands of users across Switzerland.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and deploy full stack applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET and Next.js
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend microservices
• Develop responsive frontend interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new features
• Improve system performance, scalability, security, and reliability
• Work with Elasticsearch to enhance search and ranking functionality
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Support migration of legacy systems into modern cloud-native architecture
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
• Participate in agile development processes (Scrum) within cross-functional teams

What They’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong backend experience with:
  C#
  .NET Core / ASP.NET
  Strong frontend experience with:
  React.js
  TypeScript / JavaScript
  HTML5 / CSS3
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
• Experience working with SQL Server and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB)
• Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures
• Experience working in agile teams
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Fluent English communication skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Nice To Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch ranking and search optimization
• Experience with event-driven architecture
• Experience building high-performance data ingestion pipelines
• Experience with vector databases
• Experience working on large-scale, high-traffic platforms
• Cloud-native development experience
