About This Opportunity

SparkLoop is hiring an Account Manager to help leading newsletter operators and media brands maximize audience growth and monetization through SparkLoop’s platform.

This role focuses on strategic onboarding, account management, and growth advisory services for high-value clients using SparkLoop’s Paid Recommendations and Partner Program tools.

The successful candidate will work directly with major newsletter businesses and media brands, helping them analyze performance, optimize monetization strategies, and achieve subscriber growth targets.

This is both a client success and strategic advisory role within a fast-growing, profitable SaaS company serving some of the world’s most recognized newsletter brands and creators.

The role also includes contributing insights and expertise back into the broader newsletter community through SparkLoop’s audience channels and social media presence.

What You Will Do

• Client Onboarding & Account Management
  Provide concierge onboarding services for major clients
  Manage relationships with high-value newsletter publishers and media brands
  Support clients using:
• Paid Recommendations
  Partner Program tools
  Ensure successful adoption and long-term platform engagement
• Strategic Growth Advisory
  Advise clients on:
  Audience growth strategies
  Newsletter monetization
  Subscriber acquisition
• Revenue optimization
  Analyze account performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  Help clients set measurable growth targets and implementation plans
• Relationship Management
  Build trusted partnerships with key decision-makers
  Deliver a high-touch, consultative customer experience
  Act as a strategic partner rather than only a support contact
• Industry Contribution & Thought Leadership
  Share learnings and insights with the broader newsletter community
  Contribute content and expertise through:
  SparkLoop’s audience channels
  Social media
  Industry conversations

What They’re Looking For

• Experience
  2–5 years of experience working in or alongside successful newsletter businesses
  100k+ subscribers OR
  $1M+ annual revenue environments preferred
  2–5 years of account management experience
  Background in:
  SaaS
  Agencies
  Media businesses
  Newsletter ecosystems
• Communication & Client Skills
  Strong communication and relationship management skills
  Confidence working with senior stakeholders and media decision-makers
  Native-level English proficiency
• Organizational & Strategic Skills
  Excellent attention to detail
  Strong project and relationship management abilities
  Ability to analyze performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations
• Preferred Qualifications
  Deep understanding of newsletter growth ecosystems
  Experience with major ESPs (Email Service Providers)
  Prior SparkLoop product experience
  Personal newsletter ownership
  Existing network or audience in the newsletter/media industry
• Personality Traits
  Self-driven and proactive
  Strategic thinker with strong client empathy
  Passionate about newsletters, creators, and media growth
  Comfortable working independently in a remote-first startup environment
