Remote Onboarding Operations Specialist Full Time NEW

About This Opportunity

Remote is hiring for a remote Onboarding Operations Specialist from APAC to manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new employees, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance, data handling, and a smooth experience for clients and their employees.

You’ll be part of Remote’s Onboarding Operations team, helping new employees complete the onboarding process accurately and efficiently.

What You Will Be Doing

• Employee Onboarding
  Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new employees.
  Prepare and verify employment documentation and packages.
  Ensure onboarding requirements are completed accurately and on time.
  Respond to employee questions throughout the onboarding process.
  Make sure onboarding activities meet compliance and operational requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  Work closely with Mobility, Benefits, Lifecycle, and Payroll teams.
  Coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide a smooth experience for clients and their employees.
  Help resolve onboarding issues and ensure information moves accurately between teams.
• Data & Compliance
  Maintain accurate and secure employee data.
  Handle confidential employee information according to established standards.
  Support reporting, audits, and data integrity initiatives.
  Help ensure onboarding processes remain compliant with applicable requirements.
• Process Improvement & Automation
  Identify opportunities to improve the onboarding experience.
  Help implement process improvements and more efficient workflows.
  Identify and support automation opportunities.
  Use AI and automation to improve efficiency and scalability

What They Are Looking For

Strong experience in operations, particularly people operations.
Experience working with employment contracts and other legally binding HR documents.
Understanding of employment and legal contracting processes.
Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments, ideally within a startup or high-growth company.
Strong ownership and ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider team.
Excellent written and spoken English at a business level.
Strong attention to detail and clear, professional communication.
Additional languages are a plus.
Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems.
Experience working asynchronously in an international, remote environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work flexible hours when required.
Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and Google Workspace or similar platforms.
Experience organizing and maintaining knowledge and content resources.
Strong AI and automation capabilities and AI fluency.
