About This Opportunity
Remote is hiring for a Remote Lifecycle Specialist Time and Attendance from EMEA to manage employee lifecycle, leave, working hours, and time-tracking matters while ensuring legal compliance, accurate processes, and a strong employee and client experience.

Location: Remote – EMEA, with priority for Germany, Austria, Nordics, and Eastern Europe
What You Will Be Doing
- Employee Relations & Time and Attendance
Act as a specialist on Time & Attendance matters.
Support Senior Specialists and Experts with complex projects and employment law changes.
Manage employee lifecycle cases involving family leave, sick leave, time tracking, public holidays, and working hours.
Advise clients and employees on employment legislation and applicable employment agreements.
Handle complex legal and employment-related questions with accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Support changes related to Collective Bargaining Agreements and other employment law updates. - Team & Operational Support
Work with internal and external stakeholders, including payroll, legal counsel, and government bodies.
Support initiatives affecting employees across multiple countries.
Assist with HR and financial audits to help ensure compliance with local employment regulations.
Develop and maintain internal Time & Attendance documentation based on legislative changes.
Respond to internal and external employment-related questions in collaboration with Lifecycle teams. - Process Improvement & Technology
Identify opportunities to improve employee lifecycle processes.
Contribute to automation and product development initiatives.
Help improve the customer and employee experience through better processes and systems.
Use AI and automation tools to improve operational efficiency. - Data & Confidentiality
Safely manage employee data and confidential information.
Follow established data-handling and security procedures.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Work in line with Remote’s values and contribute to the goals of the Lifecycle team.
What They Are Looking For
Proven experience managing employee lifecycle activities with a strong focus on care, accuracy, and legal compliance.
Experience providing HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across different jurisdictions.
Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and confidentially.
Advanced written and spoken English at a business level.
Additional languages are a plus.
Strong interest in process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
Excellent attention to documentation and data integrity.
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems and tools.
Ability to work independently in an international, fast-paced, asynchronous environment.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working flexible hours when needed.
Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and Google Workspace.
Foundational understanding of AI and its practical use in operations and automation.
Strong AI and automation capabilities and fluency.
