About This Opportunity
Peroptyx is hiring for a remote Data Analyst from Germany to review and validate mapping data for digital mapping applications, helping ensure that routes, business information, distances, and other location data are accurate and reliable.
What You Will Be Doing
Review and validate mapping data for digital mapping applications
Research and verify local information
Check that business names and opening hours are accurate
Verify distances between starting points and destinations
Review routes and location information for accuracy
Apply different sets of instructions consistently
Use search engines and map applications to research information
Complete tasks independently and accurately
Requirements
Must have lived in Germany for at least 5 consecutive years
Must pass an online open-book exam to demonstrate understanding of the required material
Must be available for at least 10 hours per week, with the possibility of working up to 20 hours depending on task availability
All work must be completed independently
What They’re Looking For
Fluent in German and English
Excellent research skills
Strong local knowledge of Germany
Good understanding of German geography and culture
Analytical mindset
Good working knowledge of search engines and map applications
Familiarity with social media platforms
Ability to quickly learn and follow detailed instructions
Strong attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to work independently
