Chainlink Labs is hiring a remote Data Analyst-Economics to join its Economics team, working at the intersection of blockchain systems, financial markets, and decentralized economic design.
In this role, you will analyse and operationalise economic models that shape incentives, optimise network design, and support decision-making across Economics, Product, Engineering, and Executive Leadership teams.
You will contribute directly to the development of systems that define how Chainlink designs and manages its decentralized economic infrastructure.

What You Will Do
- Perform data analysis to support economic and strategic decision-making
- Build and maintain systems for parameterisation of production economic applications
- Design and evaluate incentive mechanisms and economic models
- Develop models and simulations for investment and network decisions
- Optimise parameters for production systems and economic frameworks
- Contribute to the design of economic programs and network applications
- Work cross-functionally with Economics, Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams
- Help operationalise and implement economic processes at scale
Requirements
- Strong understanding of financial markets and crypto economics
- Strong experience in financial modelling and analytical work
- Strong skills in SQL and Python (mandatory)
- Experience in data analysis, econometrics, or data science
- Ability to solve economic and statistical problems using data
- Strong attention to detail and structured thinking
- Experience working with large datasets and analytical systems
Preferred Experience
- Background in Economics, Finance, or related quantitative field (Master’s or equivalent experience)
- Experience with DeFi and blockchain ecosystems
- Experience with simulation and optimisation modelling
- Familiarity with Airflow, DBT, or data orchestration tools
- Exposure to LLM-based tools and onchain data systems
- Published research in crypto economics, tokenomics, or mechanism design
