Staff Cloud Security Engineer Full Time

About This Opportunity

LastPass is hiring a Staff Cloud Security Engineer to help secure its cloud infrastructure and products at scale.

You’ll work closely with DevOps, CI/CD, and Architecture teams to design and implement security best practices across systems, ensuring compliance, resilience, and protection of user data.

What You Will Do

• Cloud Security & Architecture
  Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure (AWS)
  Define and enforce security controls and best practices
• Security Operations & Compliance
  Ensure systems meet security, audit, and compliance requirements
  Monitor and improve production security environments
• Threat Detection & Research
  Identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities
  Proactively improve security posture
• Collaboration
  Work closely with engineering teams to embed security early (“shift left”)
  Partner with DevOps, Platform, and Security teams

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
• Knowledge of AWS security tools (IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, etc.)
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and container security (Docker)
• Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, TLS, VPN)
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and issue tracking systems
• Strong communication skills in English
• Nice to have
  AWS Security Certification
  Experience with GitOps, CSPM, or supply chain security
  Kubernetes security tooling experience
