About This Opportunity

Catch Creation is hiring for a remote Bookkeeper (Ecommerce) to manage day-to-day financial records, reconcile transactions across multiple sales channels, and support accurate monthly reporting.

You’ll help keep Catch Creation’s ecommerce finances accurate and organized across platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, Stripe, and PayPal.

The role involves bookkeeping, reconciliations, inventory and COGS tracking, reporting, and supporting tax, payroll, and month-end processes.

What You Will Do

Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records
Reconcile bank, credit card, and payment processor accounts
Track sales, refunds, chargebacks, fees, and taxes
Record and reconcile inventory-related transactions
Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
Assist with sales tax/VAT reporting and compliance
Support payroll processing and expense tracking
Work with management and the CPA on month-end and year-end close

Required

2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in ecommerce
Proven experience managing bookkeeping for ecommerce businesses
Strong understanding of multi-channel sales accounting
Experience handling high-volume transactions
Familiarity with inventory and COGS tracking
Experience working with US-based companies is preferred
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a remote environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bookkeeping certification or accounting coursework is a plus

Experience with some or all of the following:

QuickBooks Online or Xero
Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, or similar ecommerce platforms
Stripe, PayPal, Gusto, Brex, or similar tools
Google Sheets and Excel
