Time Doctor is hiring a Payroll Operations Manager to lead and optimize its global payroll operations across a distributed workforce of 140+ employees and contractors worldwide.

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes across multiple countries, currencies, employment types, and payment platforms.

The position focuses heavily on payroll accuracy, operational structure, internal controls, reconciliations, and scalable payroll systems.

The company is looking for someone who can improve and professionalize payroll operations rather than simply process payroll cycles.

What You Will Do

• Own the full global payroll lifecycle from HR inputs to reporting and reconciliations
• Manage payroll cycles for employees and contractors worldwide
• Handle payroll distribution using:
  Wise
  Payoneer
  Deel
  Gusto
• Build and improve payroll systems, SOPs, and validation processes
• Manage payroll calendars and submission timelines
• Maintain payroll accuracy across multiple currencies and jurisdictions
• Process bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, and variable compensation
• Prepare payroll reconciliations and support financial reporting
• Improve payroll data integrity between BambooHR and payroll systems
• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and leadership teams
• Create scalable payroll workflows and automation plans

What They’re Looking For

• Required
  5+ years of payroll experience
  Experience managing payroll for 100+ employees
  Multi-country and multi-currency payroll experience
  Strong payroll reconciliation and internal controls knowledge
  Advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills
  Experience in remote or distributed companies
  Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset
  Excellent cross-functional communication skills
• Preferred
  Experience scaling payroll operations in high-growth companies
  Payroll systems implementation experience
  SaaS industry experience
  Experience in multi-entity environments
