Invoicing Analyst Full Time
About This Opportunity
Samsara is hiring an Invoicing Analyst II to join its Finance Operations team and support accurate, timely, and compliant customer billing across global accounts.
This role focuses on ensuring the end-to-end integrity of invoicing and adjustments, including credit notes, billing corrections, customer statements, and invoicing accuracy across multiple systems and regions.
The successful candidate will work closely with finance, operations, sales, and support teams to ensure customers receive clear, accurate invoices and billing support in a high-volume, KPI-driven environment.
This role is part of Samsara’s global finance operations function and contributes directly to improving billing efficiency, customer experience, and revenue accuracy.

What You Will Do
- Invoicing & Billing Operations
Ensure accurate and timely issuance of customer invoices
Manage consolidated invoicing programs for global customers
Create and process custom billing schedules and special invoicing requests
Upload invoices to external customer portals when required - Credits & Adjustments
Process credit memos, refunds, rebates, subsidies, and concessions
Apply billing adjustments accurately to invoices and statements
Maintain proper documentation for all billing changes - Customer & Internal Support
Respond to billing inquiries from customers and internal teams
Explain invoices, statements, and adjustments clearly
Handle escalations and resolve billing issues within SLA timelines - Systems & Issue Resolution
Identify and fix system errors affecting invoice generation or delivery
Support improvements in billing workflows and automation
Create documentation for recurring billing questions and issues - Compliance & Reporting
Certify invoices and payment documentation for Mexico-based accounts
Support tax-related invoicing and reconciliation processes
Track KPIs such as billing accuracy, case volume, and response time - Process Improvement
Participate in initiatives to improve invoicing efficiency and accuracy
Work cross-functionally with finance, sales, and operations teams
What They’re Looking For
- Experience
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years in Accounts Receivable, billing, or invoicing roles
Experience with Mexico invoicing and tax/payment processes
Experience in high-volume, fast-paced finance operations environments - Skills
Strong Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under SLAs
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills - Preferred
NetSuite and/or Salesforce experience
Experience with Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle systems
Experience in SaaS or enterprise billing environments
