About This Opportunity

Chainlink Labs is hiring an Engineering Manager, Infrastructure to lead the team responsible for building and operating the core cloud infrastructure that powers engineering across the organisation.

In this role, you will define and scale internal infrastructure platforms that enable engineering teams to deploy, provision, and operate systems efficiently and securely at scale.

You will ensure high reliability, strong compliance, and reduced operational friction across all product engineering teams.

What You Will Do

• Lead the strategy and delivery of an internal cloud infrastructure platform
• Build and evolve Kubernetes-based infrastructure systems at scale
• Ensure infrastructure meets high availability (99.9%+ uptime SLOs)
• Improve developer experience by reducing deployment and provisioning friction
• Support secure infrastructure aligned with SOC2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 standards
• Enable and improve CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows
• Build a reliable foundation for engineering teams to ship faster and safely
• Drive infrastructure reliability, scaling, and operational excellence

Requirements

• Experience building and operating cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• 3+ years experience managing software or infrastructure engineering teams
• Strong experience with Kubernetes at scale (platform or internal tooling ownership)
• Ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and reliability engineering
• Strong leadership skills in hiring, mentoring, and team development

Preferred Experience

• Experience with SOC2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 compliance environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD systems, secrets management, and cloud networking
• Understanding of secure software delivery and artifact management
• Exposure to Web3, blockchain, or decentralized infrastructure systems
• Experience working with globally distributed remote engineering teams
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or Go-based infrastructure tooling
