Canva is hiring a Curriculum Developer to support the creation of curriculum-aligned educational content for Filipino classrooms.

This role focuses on developing learning materials, evaluating educational resources, and ensuring alignment with the Philippine K–12 curriculum.

What You Will Be Doing

• Developing content plans and learning assessments aligned with the Philippine K–12 curriculum (DepEd MATATAG K–10 and Senior High School Grades 11–12)
• Mapping curriculum standards to existing Canva educational resources and identifying content gaps
• Creating and reviewing creative briefs for educational assets such as illustrations, templates, videos, and learning materials
• Evaluating educational resources for curriculum accuracy, pedagogical effectiveness, and learning flow
• Translating curriculum requirements into structured, actionable content strategies
• Identifying priority areas for new educational content development across subjects and grade levels
• Collaborating with content and design teams to ensure materials are educationally sound and locally relevant
• Ensuring learning materials are appropriate for grade level, subject matter, and classroom use

What They’re Looking For

• Hands-on teaching experience in K–12 education
• Strong understanding of effective classroom learning and instructional design
• Degree in Education (preferred) or a relevant subject-area qualification
• Experience creating curriculum-aligned materials such as modules, lesson plans, textbooks, or instructional content
• Strong English and Filipino communication skills
• Ability to translate curriculum standards into structured learning content
• Strong attention to detail and educational accuracy
• Ability to work independently and follow structured briefs
• Interest in AI-assisted education and digital learning tools

• 6-month freelance / contract engagement
• Approx. 30–40 hours per week
• Paid per output model
• Remote-first (Philippines-focused coordination)
