Web Developer- Shopify- Ecommerce Full Time

About This Opportunity

Catch Creation is hiring a remote Web Developer to build and maintain its Shopify-based eCommerce infrastructure and internal tooling systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on developing custom storefront functionality, backend integrations, and data pipelines that support marketing, operations, and analytics across multiple sales channels.

You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to solve high-impact technical problems, improve system performance, and integrate third-party platforms that power a fast-scaling eCommerce business.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain Shopify Plus custom themes and backend functionality (Liquid, APIs, checkout extensibility)
• Develop internal dashboards, reporting tools, and business intelligence systems
• Build and maintain API integrations between Shopify, 3PLs, ad platforms, and analytics tools
• Design and maintain data pipelines for cross-channel performance tracking
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the eCommerce stack
• Collaborate with marketing, creative, and operations teams on technical requirements
• Prioritize and ship high-impact features in a fast-moving environment

What They’re Looking For

• Strong web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Backend experience in Python, Node.js, or similar
• Experience building or integrating REST APIs
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Strong English communication skills
• Based in South America with EST overlap availability
• Experience with Shopify / Shopify Plus is a strong plus
• Familiarity with eCommerce systems and integrations is an advantage

Nice to Have

• Shopify Liquid, Storefront/Admin APIs, Shopify Flow or Scripts
• Experience with dashboards or data visualization tools
• Knowledge of ETL pipelines or data engineering tools (BigQuery, APIs, etc.)
• Experience with Amazon SP-API or marketplace integrations
• Exposure to automation or AI workflow tools
• Understanding of eCommerce operations and fulfillment systems
