Storyteller is hiring a remote Operations Generalist to identify and solve operational problems across its fast-growing B2B SaaS business.
This broad, hands-on role may involve recruitment, product operations, client support, AI tools and model evaluation, or infrastructure and cost optimization, depending on your experience and strengths.

What You’ll Do
Responsibilities may include:
Recruitment: Manage hiring processes, use technology to improve recruitment, and keep strong candidates engaged
Product Operations: Set up and support the platform across client accounts, build proof-of-concepts, and troubleshoot technical issues
Client Support: Speak directly with customers, understand how they use the product, investigate problems, and resolve issues
AI & Model Evaluation: Test new AI models, run evaluations, assess alternatives, and recommend tools for the company’s AI stack
Infrastructure & Cost Optimization: Review SaaS, AI, and cloud spending, identify waste, and reduce unnecessary costs
Operational Improvement: Identify gaps, take ownership of problems, and implement practical solutions
Not every person will cover all these areas. Responsibilities will be matched to the candidate’s experience and capabilities.

A proactive, hands-on problem-solver who takes initiative and gets things done
Comfort working with ambiguity and changing priorities
Ability to take ownership of problems and deliver practical solutions
Technical curiosity and willingness to work across different functions
Experience using AI tools to work more efficiently
Ability to communicate with developers, clients, and other team members
A preference for testing and improving solutions rather than overplanning
Experience building or running a business, startup, product, or team, or working in a fast-growing environment is valuable
Opportunities at Different Levels
More junior: Support day-to-day operations, configure software for clients, build proof-of-concepts, handle frontline support, and assist with AI model evaluations.
More senior: Own operational functions, set direction, manage hiring and teams, develop client relationships, and oversee infrastructure and cost management.
