About This Opportunity

Lemon.io is hiring a remote Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to help build and scale its outbound sales motion.

This is a founding-style role where you’ll work closely with a GTM Engineer and leadership team to design, test, and execute outbound prospecting systems that generate qualified pipeline for a global developer marketplace.

What You Will Be Doing

• Building outbound pipeline from scratch using data-driven prospecting strategies
• Executing multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls) to target prospects
• Reviewing daily lead lists and meeting outreach/call targets
• Writing highly personalized outbound messages based on research and industry insights
• Booking qualified discovery calls for the sales team
• Collaborating with GTM engineers to improve automation and outbound systems
• Contributing to outbound playbooks, messaging sequences, and targeting strategies
• Maintaining CRM hygiene in tools like HubSpot and Apollo
• Working closely with Sales leadership to align on targets and performance
• Iterating and improving outreach performance based on results and feedback

What They’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in SDR, BDR, or outbound sales roles
• Proven ability to build pipeline from zero in a SaaS, tech, or marketplace environment
• Strong experience with outbound sales playbooks and multi-channel outreach
• High-level communication skills (written and spoken English)
• Comfort working with CRM and sales tools (HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and GTM engineers
• Strong research and personalization skills for outbound messaging
• Self-starter mindset with ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
• High emotional intelligence and strong execution focus
• Comfort working across US time zones
