About This Opportunity

Yoko Co is looking for a Full Stack Web Developer with a strong focus on React to support an ongoing product build.

This role focuses on improving and expanding an existing application designed to help users better understand and navigate conflict through self-awareness and emotional intelligence.

You’ll work primarily in React while also handling WordPress-related functionality, collaborating with the team to iterate, improve user experience, and deliver meaningful product updates.

Responsabilities

• Build and iterate on an existing web application
• Develop and improve frontend features using React
• Enhance user experience, layout, and presentation
• Work with WordPress for content management and custom functionality
• Create and manage integrations between React and WordPress systems
• Implement and connect APIs (REST / GraphQL)
• Collaborate with the team through regular check-ins
• Contribute to ongoing product improvements and iterations

Requirements

• Strong experience with React and modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with WordPress development (custom plugins, integrations, data structures)
• Proficiency in:
  JavaScript
  HTML / CSS
  PHP
  MySQL
• Experience working with Git
• Experience integrating REST APIs and/or GraphQL
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to handle complex challenges
• Ideally 5+ years of development experience
• Availability for at least 2 hours overlap with US (ET) working hours
• Niche to have:
  Experience working on product-based applications
  Interest in building tools with real-world impact
