About This Opportunity

Search Dates is hiring a Senior Product Designer to help shape the experience of a modern dating app focused on authentic, meaningful connections.

In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end product design process, from research and ideation through to high-fidelity UI and delivery to engineering.

You’ll design mobile-first features, evolve the design system, and collaborate closely with developers and QA to ship polished user experiences that improve how people connect online.

This is a full-time remote design role focused on building a consumer product that directly impacts relationship-building experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design new features and improve existing product experiences (mobile and web)
• Own the end-to-end design process from research to final UI delivery
• Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes
• Maintain and evolve the Figma-based design system
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and QA teams
• Translate ideas into wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs
• Ensure consistency, usability, and visual quality across the product
• Contribute to product direction through user-centered design thinking

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience (mobile-first strongly preferred)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating real product problem-solving (not just visuals)
• Advanced proficiency in Figma
• Strong UI design skills (typography, layout, color, composition)
• Ability to balance user needs with business goals
• Experience working through full product cycles (idea → shipped product)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working in cross-functional product teams
• Nice to have:
  Experience designing dating, social, or lifestyle apps
  Strong understanding of design systems and component-based design
  Interest in human behavior and online interaction patterns
  Passion for improving digital relationship experiences
