About This Opportunity

Airhosted GmbH is seeking an Operations Specialist- Short-Term Rental Management to optimize and scale operations across its short-term rental portfolio.

This role focuses on improving workflows, managing property onboarding, and maximizing the use of property management systems like Guesty and related tools.

You’ll work closely with the founder and internal teams to build efficient processes, introduce automation, and support a growing, tech-driven rental operation.

Responsabilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding of new properties, including system setup and automation
• Design and document operational workflows for scalability and efficiency
• Leverage PMS tools (Guesty or similar) to optimize operations and reporting
• Manage integrations with tools like Operto, Chekin, and PriceLabs
• Collaborate with internal teams (guest support, cleaning, owner relations)
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements
• Support day-to-day system operations and troubleshoot issues
• Introduce automation and process improvements to streamline workflows

Requirements

• Strong experience with Guesty or similar property management systems
• Hands-on experience with STR tools (Operto, Chekin, etc.)
• Process-driven mindset with strong organizational skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Excellent English communication skills
• Self-starter with a proactive and independent work style
• Experience in short-term rental management or hospitality tech
• Niche to have:
  German language skills
  Experience with AI tools in short-term rental operations
  Familiarity with automation tools for messaging, pricing, or analytics
