Full-Stack Developer – Junior Full Time

LeadUp is looking for a Junior Full-Stack Developer to help build and ship a fast-growing web application from the ground up.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with a senior developer and CTO, building real features that go live quickly to actual users.

You’ll focus on developing user-facing functionality, dashboards, and backend systems while using modern tools—including AI-assisted coding- to move fast and deliver high-quality work.

Responsabilities

• Build core parts of the web application including dashboards, onboarding flows, and user interfaces
• Develop admin panels for user management, configuration, and data insights
• Implement backend systems such as notifications, emails, and data exports
• Collaborate on database design and contribute to schema improvements
• Write tests to cover defined scenarios and ensure system reliability
• Work closely with the senior developer through daily syncs and code reviews
• Ship features quickly based on clear specifications
• Adapt to changing priorities as the product evolves

Requirements

• 1–3 years of development experience (including internships or freelance work)
• Strong frontend experience with React or Next.js
• Backend experience with Python (FastAPI is a plus)
• Basic understanding of PostgreSQL (queries, joins, schema concepts)
• Comfort using AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude) in daily workflow
• Ability to work independently from detailed specs
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to ask questions
• Good written and spoken English
• Niche to have:
  Experience with FastAPI
  Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and responsive design
  Understanding of authentication systems (OAuth, JWT)
  Experience building dashboards or reporting tools
  Portfolio or GitHub with real projects
