About This Opportunity

The Marketing Collective is hiring an Email Designer – Klaviyo Implementation Specialist to support email marketing and retention campaigns for DTC and e-commerce brands across the DACH region.

This role focuses on designing email campaigns in Figma, implementing approved designs in Klaviyo, and supporting signup form creation and email production workflows.

The position sits within a pod structure alongside a Brand Manager and Retention Expert, supporting a sequential workflow from copy to design, implementation, QA, and send.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Email Design & Creative
  Design email campaigns and automated flows in Figma using templates and modules
  Build and maintain reusable Figma module libraries
  Adapt designs to client brand guidelines including colors, typography, imagery, and layout patterns
  Test email designs in mobile and desktop views including dark mode
  Design signup forms and popups
• Klaviyo Implementation
  Implement approved designs in Klaviyo
  Upload image slices and add live text blocks
  Configure font sizes and mobile/desktop rendering fallbacks
  Insert links and dynamic content variables
  Add alt text to images
  Implement client feedback notes and coordinate approvals
• Workflow & Communication
  Coordinate directly with clients regarding design approvals and feedback
  Respond to client design messages during working hours
  Flag blockers such as missing assets, late copy, or unclear feedback
  Manage workload and pacing within the pod workflow

What They’re Looking For

• Experience
  3+ years of email design experience in e-commerce
  2+ years of hands-on Klaviyo experience
  Experience working with design systems and module/component libraries
• Technical Skills
  Strong Figma skills
• Experience with:
  Klaviyo
  Figma module/component systems
  Email slicing
  Dynamic content
  Email fallbacks
  File size optimization
• Portfolio with shipped Klaviyo work
• Knowledge of email-specific constraints including:
  80KB file limit
  Dark mode rendering
  Mobile-first design
  Font fallbacks
  Alt text discipline
• Communication & Soft Skills
  Excellent written communication skills in English
  Extremely detail-oriented
  Strong follow-through and time management skills
  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  Open to constructive feedback
• Preferred Experience
  HTML/CSS for email
  Experience with Emailify or similar Figma-to-email plugins
  Klaviyo signup form builder experience
  Familiarity with retention marketing logic such as:
  Welcome series
  Abandoned cart
  Post-purchase
  Winback
• Experience working across multiple brand systems simultaneously

Work Model

• Fully remote
• Preference for GMT or ahead for DACH-hours coverage
• Long-term contract role
