Remote Community Operations Manager Contract Full Time
About This Opportunity
Outcapped is hiring a detail-oriented Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of mission-driven startups.
This is a hands-on role focused on keeping systems organized, information accurate, workflows running smoothly, and operational tasks completed on time.
You’ll work alongside more experienced operators and gain practical experience in building and maintaining effective operational systems.
Outcapped plans to hire three Operations Associates over the next three months, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
What You Will Be Doing
- Expert Network Operations
Maintain accurate supply data across the expert network.
Track who is in the network, their specialties, quality tier, availability, and current status.
Keep the underlying data organized and reliable so the team can make informed decisions.
Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities within the network. - Funnel & Reporting
Maintain and publish weekly funnel metrics, including:
Applications
Portfolio approval
Testing
Passing
Contracting
Staffing
Monitor conversion rates and identify where experts are getting stuck.
Surface operational issues before they impact staffing or project timelines. - Onboarding Operations
Coordinate expert onboarding sessions and next steps.
Track progress through the onboarding process.
Follow up with experts when steps stall.
Identify bottlenecks and escalate issues that require intervention.
Continuously improve the onboarding workflow. - Reactivation & Engagement
Run reactivation campaigns for experts who are no longer actively engaged.
Manage outreach sequences and track responses.
Monitor bookings and conversions.
Route conversations to the appropriate team member.
Report on campaign performance and identify what drives re-engagement. - Ongoing Expert Engagement
Manage the touchpoints between projects that keep experts engaged and available.
Execute engagement activities according to the cadence established by the community lead.
Help ensure experts remain warm and ready for future opportunities.
Support stronger retention and faster project starts.
