AlphaSense is looking for a remote People Operations Coordinator from India to support global HR operations and employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.

This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and service-driven who enjoys supporting employees, managing HR systems, coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes, and helping teams operate smoothly at scale.

You’ll work closely with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate HR administration, compliance, and a seamless employee experience across global teams.

What You Will Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee and People Operations inquiries via Jira, email, and internal systems
• Provide Tier 1 HR support including:
  Employee questions
  HR systems support
  Verification of employment requests
  Basic employee relations intake
• Escalate complex HR issues to appropriate People Operations team members when needed
• Coordinate onboarding activities including:
  Processing employee data in Workday/HCM
  Auditing new hire information
  Communicating onboarding requirements
  Scheduling orientation sessions
• Support offboarding processes including:
  Processing terminations
  Coordinating with IT and internal departments
  Managing exit-related communications
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR data integrity across systems
• Create and manage job requisitions in HCM systems in collaboration with HR, Finance, and hiring managers
• Support compliance reporting, audits, and HR documentation processes
• Assist with annual HR initiatives such as:
  Compensation reviews
  Performance cycles
  Policy launches
  Employee trainings
• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of employee information at all times

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of HR administrative or People Operations experience
• 1+ year of Workday HR/HCM experience
• Experience using ticketing systems such as Jira
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Familiarity with:
  Excel / Google Sheets
  Filters, formulas, VLOOKUPs, and basic reporting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in remote and fast-paced environments

Nice To Have

• International HR operations exposure
• Experience supporting North America and EMEA regions
• Familiarity with payroll systems or global mobility tools
• Experience coordinating HR compliance or audit-related tasks
• Previous experience in SaaS, technology, or fast-growing companies
