In this role, you will edit long-form content for enterprise audiences, working on topics such as cybersecurity, internal audit, and regulatory compliance.

You’ll collaborate closely with writers and subject matter experts to deliver clear, credible, and high-performing content aligned with business and SEO goals.

What You Will Do

• Edit long-form B2B content on topics such as:
  SOX compliance and internal controls
  Cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
  Risk management and GRC practices
  Audit workflows and reporting
• Ensure content meets the expectations of enterprise stakeholders (e.g., CISOs, Audit Directors, Risk & Compliance leaders)
  Translate technical and regulatory topics into clear, structured content
  Refine tone, clarity, structure, and readability while maintaining accuracy
  Maintain brand voice and editorial standards
• Perform QA on content for:
  Accuracy and consistency
  Grammar and style
  Structure and clarity
  SEO and conversion readiness
• Track and enforce editorial best practices across drafts and revisions

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience editing B2B content (ideally SaaS or services)
• Experience in one or more areas:
  Information security / cybersecurity
  Risk and compliance
  Internal audit or controls
  IT governance
• Strong knowledge of frameworks such as:
  SOX, NIST, COSO, ISO 27001, SOC 2, IIA Standards
  TPRM and ERM frameworks
• Ability to turn technical SME input into clear, executive-level content
• Strong editing skills across clarity, tone, structure, and SEO
• Familiarity with tools like Clearscope, Asana (nice to have)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Contract / freelance role
• Portfolio required (3–5 relevant editing samples)
• Applications reviewed on a rolling basis
• $35 USD per hour (standardized across projects)
