GitLab is hiring a Salesforce Admin / Release Engineer to support and scale its CRM systems across APAC.

In this role, you’ll manage Salesforce releases end-to-end, ensuring smooth, reliable deployments across environments while maintaining system stability and data integrity.

You’ll work at the intersection of Salesforce administration and DevOps, building CI/CD pipelines, improving automation, and supporting cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do

• Manage Salesforce release cycles across Dev, Sandbox, UAT, and Production
• Deploy configurations and metadata (Apex, Lightning, flows, integrations)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments
• Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, automation, and security
• Manage sandbox environments, refreshes, and data seeding
• Handle data imports/exports and maintain data quality
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot release issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders on release planning, testing, and rollout

Requirements

• 4–5 years of Salesforce administration experience
• Hands-on experience with release tools (Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, etc.)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices for Salesforce
• Experience managing multi-environment release processes
• Proficiency with Salesforce data tools (e.g., Data Loader)
• Experience with Git/version control workflows
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
