About This Opportunity

As a Sales Assist Representative, you’ll be part of a high-velocity, chat-driven sales team, helping customers evaluate, understand, and purchase Zapier.

This is a hybrid role (sales + technical + support) where you:

• Engage with customers primarily via live chat (Zendesk)
• Run product demos
• Help drive conversion and pipeline growth
• Act as a bridge between product, sales, and customers

What You’ll Do

• Customer Engagement & Sales
  Handle live chat conversations (4+ hours daily)
  Guide users from interest → understanding → purchase
  Answer product, pricing, and use-case questions
• Demos & Solution Selling
  Run virtual demos (Zoom)
  Showcase how Zapier solves real business problems
  Inspire automation use-cases and ROI
• Pipeline & Revenue Contribution
  Qualify leads and convert customers directly
  Generate pipeline from:
  Live chat
  Product Qualified Leads (PQLs)
  Support broader sales teams with qualified opportunities
• Feedback & Cross-functional Work
  Share insights from customer interactions
  Identify:
  Product gaps
  Sales friction points
  Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams

Requirements

• Experience
  4+ years in:
  Sales Engineering
  Technical Account Management
  SaaS Sales (technical products)
  Experience in product-led growth (PLG) environments
• Skills
  Strong sales + technical understanding
  Comfortable explaining:
  APIs
  Automation workflows
  Ability to manage a high-volume sales queue
• AI & Automation Mindset
  Regular use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
  Ability to build workflows that improve:
  Efficiency
  Output quality
  Experimental mindset with continuous improvement
• Communication
  Excellent written and verbal English
  Strong cross-cultural communication skills
• Work Style
  Self-managed, high ownership
  Comfortable working night shift (IST)
  Able to handle fast-paced, repetitive interactions

Work Setup

• Remote (India-based)
• Working hours: ~9:00 PM – 7:00 AM IST

Compesation

• ₹35,75,300 – ₹49,96,800 OTE
• Includes:
  Base + Commission
  Equity
