Canonical’s Sales Development Representative organization is focused on developing exceptional and ambitious technology sales professionals.
This role is suited to someone who is organized, persistent, charismatic, and hard-working, with an interest in technology and its business implications.
You will collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams. Your primary objective will be to identify customer projects that fit Canonical’s product lines and promote Canonical across different industries and geographies.
Handle inbound customer inquiries across email, phone, and chat
Execute outbound sales and marketing campaigns
Travel to events and conferences worldwide, presenting at booths and driving face-to-face marketing and sales opportunities
Collaborate across multiple teams and senior stakeholders to drive results
Work directly with marketing on campaigns
Research information about prospective customers
Generate a multi-million pound pipeline
Identify prospects and market trends
Help define processes and policies for the team
Liaise with new and existing customers, setting up and attending meetings while actively mapping accounts to identify new opportunities
Accurately create, update, maintain, and nurture leads on global opportunities
Excellent academic results at school and university
