Responsibilities

• Migrate core backend services from Python to Go, focusing on performance-critical systems
• Build and maintain gRPC services using protobuf for backend architecture
• Optimize query execution, geospatial processing, and real-time aggregation logic
• Define engineering standards for observability, error handling, and testing
• Design and implement MCP servers to expose internal tools (ClickHouse queries, geospatial operations, dashboards, etc.)
• Build secure multi-tenant systems with RBAC, auditing, and rate limiting
• Develop a conversational “Ask Atlas” UI with streaming responses and tool-based actions
• Implement NL→SQL/Geo pipelines for natural language querying of analytics systems
• Integrate LLM-based reasoning with statistical detection and alerting systems
• Work across frontend, backend, and AI layers to deliver end-to-end features

Requirements

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript (hooks, state management, data visualization)
• Backend development experience with Go, including API design and testing
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL required)
• Experience with Linux and distributed systems (microservices, observability, resilience)
• Product mindset with ability to understand user needs and business problems
• Professional working proficiency in English and Russian
• Nice to have
  Python backend experience (FastAPI, asyncio)
  Experience with ClickHouse and/or MongoDB
  Experience building LLM-based systems (MCP, function calling, RAG pipelines, chat UX)
  Kafka or stream processing experience
  Kubernetes deployment experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Yandex Cloud)
  Experience with geospatial technologies (deck.gl, H3, GeoJSON, WebGL, quadkeys)
  Experience with gRPC-web and protobuf
  Interest in product analytics and performance metrics
