What You’ll Do
AI Architecture & Agentic Systems
Design and implement AI agents and task-specific workflows.
Build multi-step AI systems for user-facing features.
Develop retrieval pipelines, embeddings, and hybrid RAG systems.
Build prompting, function-calling, and tool-orchestration systems.
Improve reliability, evaluation, monitoring, and AI guardrails.
Full-Stack Development
Build features across React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Translate product and clinical requirements into AI-powered experiences.
Work with data pipelines, BigQuery, analytics, and experimentation systems.
Develop scalable APIs, backend services, and data models.
UI & Cross-Platform Systems
Build and improve shared React and React Native component libraries.
Contribute to the company’s design system.
Ensure applications are accessible, performant, and suitable for multiple languages and markets.
Technical Leadership
Establish engineering standards for AI-integrated features.
Mentor engineers on AI architecture, LLM patterns, evaluation, and failure modes.
Challenge assumptions and propose pragmatic technical solutions.
Help establish responsible and effective approaches to AI development.
Required Experience
6+ years of senior-level software engineering experience or equivalent.
Strong experience working independently and owning complex technical projects.
Deep understanding of the modern LLM ecosystem, including models, embeddings, structured outputs, evaluation, and cost/latency tradeoffs.
Hands-on experience building production AI agents, including tool calling, planning, retrieval, and multi-step workflows.
Strong React, Next.js, and TypeScript experience.
Strong backend experience with Node.js, APIs, authentication, data modeling, and performance optimization.
Experience building cloud-hosted applications using platforms such as GCP or Azure.
Familiarity with BigQuery or comparable analytical data warehouses.
Strong product mindset and focus on usability and business outcomes.
Pragmatic approach to engineering, with an emphasis on readable code, maintainability, and low complexity.
Nice to Have
Experience in healthtech, HR tech, or other sensitive-data environments.
Experience with AI evaluation frameworks and model observability.
Experience with human-in-the-loop AI systems.
React Native or native mobile development experience.
Experience building multilingual or multi-market products.
Experience with SonarQube, SAST/AppSec, developer platforms, or similar technologies.
