Storyteller is hiring a Remote Operations Generalists for broad, ownership-focused roles.

The positions are designed for people who find and solve problems rather than waiting to be given tasks.
The scope varies depending on the candidate’s level and strengths, with opportunities ranging from day-to-day software and client support to hiring, client relationships, infrastructure, and cost management.

What You Will Be Doing

• Run recruitment end to end, including innovating, using the latest technology, moving quickly, and keeping strong candidates engaged.
• Set up and run software across clients efficiently and effectively.
• Stand up proof-of-concepts on request.
• Understand how the software works and troubleshoot when something breaks.
• Speak directly with clients about how they use the products.
• Investigate what is working and what is not.
• Handle client support directly.
• Run evaluations of new AI models.
• Decide whether to adopt or switch models.
• Maintain the appropriate AI tooling.
• Manage SaaS, AI, and cloud billing.
• Identify waste and reduce costs.

Requirements:

• Ability to take ownership of ambiguity.
• Ability to move things forward and get work done.
• Willingness to ship something rough and improve it rather than delay action.
• Ability to communicate with developers.
• Ability to read a billing dashboard.
• Ability to run an evaluation.
• Ability to take client calls.
• Already using AI to move faster.
• Preferred Qualification:
  Experience building or running something of your own, such as a startup, small business, product, or team.
  Experience working somewhere fast-growing where the scope was undefined.
  Experience in a role involving broad operational responsibilities.
