A Toronto, Canada–based tech startup hires a Software Development Freelancer to deliver feature work.

Responsibilities for the Software Development Freelancer:

• Implement new features and fix bugs in codebase
• Write unit/integration tests and documentation
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning
• Ensure code quality and deployable releases

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in preferred stack (Python/JS/Java/.NET etc.)
• Prior freelance or remote dev experience and Git proficiency
• Good English for technical collaboration
• Ability to estimate tasks and meet sprint deadlines
